The many winter sports facilities around St. Andreasberg make it an attractive winter mountain sports field. Two double lifts, seven T-bar lifts and a rope tow to the ski arenas "Matthias Schmidt Mountain" and "Sun Mountain" are available for the snow-hungry travelers. Ski-Beginners can take ski and snowboard lessons. A 44 km cross country ski trail network, one for international biathlon competitions suitable and a lighted sledding hill and rolled trails make the wintersports and recreation perfect.
